Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year !!

I have created pinklily not only to be a website but also to be a direct contact with my customers.  I have often described pinklily to be like a retail fairytale - I want you to be able to step inside and browse through the many gorgeous products which I personally design or purchase for their functionality or glamour?

I want you to be able to contact me personally about any queries you have regarding a product, and questions you have about  a transaction you are processing on the site but best of all ask me about designing a product that you really need !! a product which you can’t live without - something that isn’t already out there ? a product which you know I could improve on or make it just a little bit more " pinklilyed"

I absolutely love it when a product sells out, then I wait, and sure enough I will start to get queries about when is that product coming back? this is exactly what happend with the very famous " mini lily " .Originally I designed this gorgeous little square box with a lid for sunglasses but I was finding that women where using it for absolutely everything - from hair accessories, to children’s toys - but most popular was to put little baby shoes into it !!

Well it’s coming back and should be ready to jump back on the site and the end of February.

Another item which clients have been asking me for is the gorgeous ladybird car air freshner. This is a hot pink ladybird which attaches to your air conditioning vent and fills your car with a really fresh, clean scent. If you would like me to bring this back - just comment here on  pinklilytimes and I will just see what I can do about it !!

TWENTY TEN is so exciting for pinklily - I am now constantly on TVSN showing all of the pinklily glamorous storage products. This is such a great way for me to explain, demonstrate and educate my clients on how to use the products which I design. It is an hour of live television - which I am finally over the nerves and it is a wonderful way to understand my pinklily concept.

In the middle of Feb my latest product will be launched ...............ssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhh
I know this will be as popular as the " pinklily clear box " . It is so exciting - I have waited 6 months for this to be developed and I will launch this on  TVSN in February.

April will see yet another product that I have been working on - the perfect gift for mother’s day .......... something I’m sure we all can’t live without.

sooo - read through the rest of  pinklily times, join the mailing list ( if you haven’t already) so that you receive the product launch emails, the special deals and cute birthday offers.............

Thank you so much for loving pinklilytimes just as much as I get to chat about the exciting new products happening at pinklily

I’m sorry, but there is nothing more annoying than walking into one of these large chain stores lately and you have to buy a plastic bag. I completely understand the environmental effects but where has the customer service gone? I am in your store - and now I have to buy a bag to carry the goods I have bought out of the store ? or look like a complete fool trying to balance them whilst holding a receipt and not getting arrested?

girls - grab a strawberry - it has a clip which you can attach to your handbag - therefore it will always be wtih you.

the most important feature about this handy shopping bag is that it is really easy to put back into the shape of the strawberry - because if you are as impatient as me and always in a rush - there could be nothing worse than buying something as cute as this and then it not being functional for its use.

these are fantastic and pinklily customers can’t get enough of them ..........

jump on the site and grab one now @$9 - don’t be asked if you would like to buy a plastic bag - say " no" I have my strawberry !!

Ok lets talk the talk …………..

Here at pinklily I’ve just begun selling your fabulous book – your best life. What is the one comment would you like women to make when they have finished reading your book ?

Everyone experiences something different when they read my book, but the common thread is a sense of rejuvenation and excitement about the possibilities the future holds.  I received this letter from a recently and it’s a perfect example of how readers experience Your Best Life.

"Your best life" has been the best gift I’ve ever given myself. It’s given me a starting point, somewhere to launch from, and most importantly I’ve found hope again. I’m now very enthusiastically setting new intentions, dreaming new dreams and taking small steps in rewiring my thinking patterns. It’s like you’ve come along and taken a big messed up ball of wool and you’ve started to unravel it with your step by step guide in the book.” Maria

I would assume that most people want to change something about their life. What is the most common one ?

The most common goals are about fitness and health, closely followed by finance, career and relationship goals. I always encourage readers to personalise their goals so that they are real and meaningful and not generic.  The more personal and heartfelt you can make your goals, the better your chance of achieving them.

But setting new goals isn’t the only thing both my clients and readers want to change about their life.  Most people want to change the way they have been thinking about themselves and their lives by overcoming their limiting beliefs and building their self-confidence.

We’ve just celebrated nye 2009 – why do we always set goals at this time – when do you think is the best time?

I love the ritual of New Year; the closing out of the previous year, leaving the past firmly in the past and he chance to make a fresh start or have a new beginning makes it the perfect time to set new goals.

But people shouldn’t let missing the New Year starting line become their excuse for not achieving their potential in life.  The truth is New Year’s Day is just another day and there is no better day than today, the present moment, to start setting new goals and designing the life of your dreams

How is it best to start? – should we make a list of things we want to change?

A great tool for working out where to start is the Wheel of Life.  pinklilytimes readers can download their own from the free readers resource section on my website.  This will help you to work out which areas need urgent focus.

I also recommend balancing out your goal setting with some big ticket long term goals as well as short term or quick win goals that will leave you feeling great straight away.  There is also a template for working through your goals and categorising them in the readers resources section.

And then on the other hand – isn’t it also important to really assess what we are good at ?

I’ve dedicated a whole chapter in my book on how to Build Unshakeable Confidence.  Building your confidence and supporting your self esteem is one of the most important things you can do. One of this best tools for doing this is to create a list of all the things you are great at, things you are proud of and things you have achieved in life.  Read this list regularly, especially if you are feeling down or deflated.

For me -  It’s the start of the year and pinklily has been really busy over the break – I am already tired and I don’t feel energized – what should I do?

One of the best ways to get more energy is to stop!   I always recommend that people find ten minutes twice a day to stop and enjoy some silence…  This doesn’t have be a mediation, it might be as simple as making a cup of tea, and drinking it looking out of window instead of looking at your email. Or perhaps you could eat your lunch outside instead of at your desk…  with your phone on SILENT.

Of course taking another holiday would also be great, but it’s the little changes you make each and every day that will make the most difference!

As you have interviewed me before – the hardest part of my life is the balance – have you got a tip for me to stop working !!!!( ok just some of the time )

I always say that the best way to get work life balance is to get a life!  So often people find themselves torn between work and home commitments with one always feeling short changed.  But both of these commitments are ‘have to’s’.

One of the best ways to get more balance in your life is to get involved in more ‘want to’s’ but to schedule these into your life with as much commitment as you would work or a home commitment.

Everyone knows someone with a small child who is able to walk out of the office at 5pm on the dot because they have to collect their child from childcare.  We don’t question this because we know that caring for our children is non-negotiable.

The best way to create more balance in your life is to make other things you want in your life non-negotiable too.  It might be as simple prioritising a session at the gym, getting a facial or massage, going to the movies or catching up for coffee and a chat with a girlfriend.

Scheduling in something you pay for in advance is also a great trick for building your commitment, like enrolling in a course to learn a new skill or language.

The secret to balance is to make time in your life for you and make it a priority!

What is the easiest and first thing people want to change?

The answer to this is different for everyone. What is easy for one person can be the biggest challenge in the world for someone else.

I always encourage people to set themselves up for success, not failure, but starting out with something they feel confident they can achieve and building on their goals from there.

To spend a day with you, or be involved in one of your workshops must be so rewarding – what is one the success stories one of your clients have experienced from one of these?

I received this gorgeous letter from one of the participants last year.  It’s a great example of the experiences participants have.

” I just wanted to touch base with you & let you know that I have a new job now that is my dream job I have been wanting for a while, & also there is a great man in my life too! I wanted to say thank you again for the workshop - it seriously has changed my life and I am just so happy!”

Priscilla, Vic

So Domonique – we can buy your book, we can jump on your website and receive your newsletters, we can listen to your live radio interviews of successful women and we can join one of your workshops – is there anything else I have missed?

As I’ve mentioned, on my website, I also have a range of free resources, tools and templates for readers – all designed to help you to start living your best life. This year I’ll also be launching a new range of coaching products.  The best way to keep up with what I am doing is to sign up to my weekly newsletter.

Domonique thank you so much for you time and joining me at pinklilytimes –

Hi Everyone

its not just in your wardrobes that  you need to be organised ................

just like planning your organisation of your wardrobe - how do you plan your day ?

In all my media articles and interviews I am reknowned for waking up early. Just ask anyone who has worked for me, or had any business connection with pinklily.

They receive emails from me at 4.30am ! but that’s just the way my body clock works !.
I work from 4.30 till 7.30am each day. Then the school routine starts and I go into the warehouse. I find that I can complete everything I need to do for a whole day in just these 3 hours. There are no interruptions of emails, phone calls or day to day running of the business, it is so quiet and my most productive time.

My father always went to work at 6am so the house was always up. I gues the routine has always stuck. I just feel so much more energised and clearer at that time of the morning.

This is when I am creative, precise and can plan out the days ahead.

Now if you were to speak to those same people who work with me and ask them what I am like at around 3pm - just before school pick up - I am exhausted - often it is time for the nana - nap........ believe me often I do - just so I can get through the night

When are you at your best ? When are your best 3 hours to get work done ? put this into your goal setting like Domonique suggests - then you know that for that allocated time you can get your whole day planned, organised and feel like you really have accomplished something.

Set goals, plan your exercise - as the guilt you feel when you don’t exercise is so much worse than actually getting up and going to do it !!

with your business and your work - do the hardest, toughest, worst job first - there is a great book that I read called " eat that frog" this is the perfect example - get it done and then everything else will seem so easy.

so please girls - send me your comments.

what is your routine ? let’s share these comments with everyone else so we can all help each other.

My online magazine goes out to thousands of women across Australia - lets make it easy !

send me your tips for being organised and they can be posted just by your first name here on the magazine
